Who was Sarah Mumford?

This is a personal favorite. A jewel plucked from Rochester way which descended upon a sleepy little town known as Pendleton, New York. An open secret, if you will.

At the turn of the last century, a young woman, going by the name of Sarah Mumford, was granted refuge in a small town outside of Buffalo, New York. She was around 17 with luxurious ebony locks and eyes like the sky on a soft summer day.

This sounds like a ripe beginning, doesn’t it? What we fail to comprehend is the midsection of the murder mystery, no pun intended.

This story ultimately ends in homicide on the Toonerville Trolley Line.
